LUCKY BLAZE, sired by Lucky Wonder Horse is crowned the 2024 SD Heartland Futurity Champion!
The 5 year old daughter of Blaze of Orion is owned by Shannon Iversen and ridden by Heidi Gunderson. In round 1, the team placed 3rd out of 130 riders in the 1D with a 15.654. Round 2 they secured themselves the win, leading the race by over .2 seconds with a 15.531. This secured them the titile of 1D Futuity Champion with a 31.285 for the two runs and earned the team $2,514.
