Muy Peligrosito Dominates $200,000 All American Juvenile at Ruidoso Downs

RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—SEPTEMBER 6, 2021—In just his third-career start Muy Peligrosito defeated Valiant Charm by 1-½ lengths to win the $200,000 All American Juvenile Monday afternoon at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack.

Bumped at the break, Muy Peligrosito powered clear of the field under jockey Adrian Ramos to complete the 440 yards in :21.168 seconds, a 101 speed index with a 3 mph tailwind.

Trainer Albert Valles saddled the son of leading second-crop sire of winners ONE FABULOUS EAGLE to his second career win in three starts for owner Abelardo F. Gallegos. The $84,000 Juvenile winners' purse boosted his bankroll to $88,800.

Darling Farms and Jaime H. Gomez bred Muy Peligrosito in Mexico from the Walk Thru Fire mare Peligrosita.

Valiant Charm, owned-and-trained by Juan Esquivel, finished second to earn $36,000. Jose Ortiz rode the gelded son of Valiant Hero from the Chief Corona mare Charmin Chief Corona. Bred in Texas by Gar and Randal Kurz, Valiant Charm has earned $52,730 in six starts.

Dunn Ranch's Oklahoma homebred Hallelujah Nights finished a nose back to earn $20,000 for third. Monty Arrossa trains the Pyc Paint Your Wagon gelding who a finalist in the Grade 1 Ed Burke Million Futurity in June.

Ramon Sanchez had the ride on the gray gelding out of Tres Sea by Tres Seis. Hallelujah Nights has earned $52,770 in five starts.

Completing the All American Juvenile field were Downrite Handsome, Whizkey Glasses, Chizum, Shesa Relentless Gal, Misty Cracker, Phoenominal-(DH-9th) and Political Rose-(DH-9th).
