Multiple placed Mound Valley Eagle by One Fabulous Eagle qualified for his fourth consecutive futurity this year.

WAYNE, OK—AUGUST 30, 2020— Royal Vista Ranches stallion's IVORY JAMES and ONE FABULOUS EAGLE had additional stakes qualifiers over the weekend at Sweetwater Downs in Rock Springs, Wyoming and Pocatello Downs in Pocatello, Idaho.

Stakes-placed Mound Valley Eagle qualified for his fourth futurity of the year on Friday when (Aug. 28) when he finished a head off Cowboyhatbygucci to set the fourth fastest time for the $50,000-added Sweetwater Downs Futurity at Sweetwater Downs.


Riley Moosman conditions the gelded son of leading second-crop sire ONE FABULOUS EAGLE for owners Andrea and Eddie Jensen. Bred in Idaho by Abigail Kawananakoa, Mound Valley Eagle has compiled a (7) 3-3-0 record and banked $43,431 this season.

Out of the Foose mare Royal Fooseperrypie, Mound Valley Eagle was second in the Hadley/Giles Futurity and second in the Beehive Futurity early this year. The brown gelding was also a finalist in the Bitterroot Futurity(RG3).

The 10 fastest qualifiers, from five trial races contested, will return to Sweetwater Downs on Saturday, September 11th to vie for the winner's share of the purse going 350 yards.

The lightly raced Rtm Belle finished a neck off Chicks Dashin Bandit to set the fourth fastest time in the $20,000-added Idaho Cup Futurity on Friday (Aug. 28). Jockey Nkia Ramirez rode the daughter of champion sire IVORY JAMES to a :17.948 clocking for 350 yards.

Trainer Mark Hanson saddled the filly in only her third career start for owner RTM Stables LLC.  Susan Hanson bred the gray filly in Idaho from the Chickie Cherry Cola mare Rtm Say Your Prayers.   She has compiled a (3) 1-1-1- record.
