One Fabulous Eagle Sires Two More Stakes Finalists

Leading second crop sire One Fabulous Eagle sired two more stakes finalists over the weekend.

WAYNE, OK—JUNE 21, 2021—Over the weekend this year's leading second-crop sire of winners, ONE FABULOUS EAGLE, sired qualifiers to the $94,555 Hawkeye Futurity at Prairie Meadows and the $30,500-added Adequan Pocatello Derby Challenge.

On Sunday Fabulous Mary Ia posted the 5th fastest qualifying time from three trials contested for the $94,555 Hawkeye Futurity at Prairie Meadows. Jose Gamez conditions the bay filly for owner R&H Brothers LLC.

Bred by Darling Farms, from the Jumpn mare Dazzlin Effort, Fabulous Mary Ia broke her maiden May 13th at Remington Park.  She has earned $10,798 in three starts.

The Hawkeye Futurity final will be contested on July 10th

On Friday, June 18th stakes winner Babes Fabulous Eagle set the 6th fastest time for the $30,500-added Adequan Pocatello Derby Challenge.  Trainer Monty Arrossa named jockey Cesar Moreno to ride last year's South Valley Futurity winner for owner Merlin Sharp. 

Darling Farms bred the $17,912 earner from the Jess Zoomin mare Gone Babie Gone.

The Adequan Pocatello Derby Challenge final will run on June 30th. The winner will also earn a berth in the $125,000-est. Adequan Derby Challenge Championship(G3) during the Bank of America Challenge Championships October 23 at Albuquerque Downs.
