Fabulous Lincoln Qualifies to Juvenile In Night 1 Sam Houston Futurity Trials

Leading second-crop sire One Fabulous Eagle sired $71,165 Sam Houston Juvenile qualifier Fabulous Lincoln.

HOUSTON, TX—MAY 8, 2021—Fabulous Lincoln, a 2-year-old son of last year's leading first-crop sire of winners ONE FABULOUS EAGLE, posted the ninth fastest time from 99 2-year-olds who competed in 11 trials for the Grade 2 Sam Houston Futurity Friday night at Sam Houston Race Park. The track will host another 11 trials for the futurity tonight (Saturday).

A $34,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate last summer, Fabulous Lincoln finished second to second-fastest qualifier and RG1-placed Hock It To You in the final trial Friday night.  Jockey Nestor Duran had the riding call for trainer Adrian Huitron. 

Bred in Oklahoma by Darling Farms, the brown colt out of Kates Rason by Good Reason SA, Fabulous Lincoln races for owner Eduardo Leon. The second dam is the AQHA Racing Champion Aged Mare Johnna Kate ($538,679) by Rare Form. .

Fabulous Lincoln's :17.229 clocking for the 330 yards puts him as the fourth fastest qualifier on night-1 to the $71,165 Sam Houston Juvenile. The final will be contested on Friday May 28th.
