Uncle Eds Idea (#9) posted the second fastest time Sunday night for the $248,000 Grade 2 Heritage Place Derby.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MAY 10, 2020—Coming off a third-place effort in the Grade 2 Bob Moore Stakes April 18, Uncle Eds Idea posted the second fastest qualifying time for the $248,000 Heritage Place Derby(G2) Sunday night at Remington Park.

The son of multiple stakes sire DOMINYUN got at the wire by champion and fastest qualifier Trump My Record. Ridden by jockey Jose Vega, Uncle Eds Idea posted a 19.599 clocking for the 400 yards, a 93 speed index.

Tammy Kay Johnson conditions the 3-year-old stakes winning out of Mystical Eye by Mr Eye Opener. The Texas home-bred races for owner-breeders Robert and Stacey Martin. Winner of the Black Gold 350 Futurity Championship last year, he has compiled a (10) 4-2-2 record and banked $158,112.
