Unintymidated Qualifies For Bank of America Rillito Park Championship Challenge

Dominyan sired Unintymidated qualified for the Bank of America Rillito Park Championship Challenge.


TUCSON, AZ—FEBRUARY 29, 2020—Unintymidated, a 5-year-old son of multiple stakes sire DOMINYUN, posted the fifth fastest time in Saturday's trials for the Bank of America Rillito Park Championship Challenge.

The 10 fastest qualifiers, from 11 head who competed in two trials at Rillito Park, will return to the Arizona racetrack on Sunday, March 22nd to vie for the winner's share of $40,000-added purse as well as garner the first spot in the 2020 Grade 1 $250,000-est. Bank of America Championship Challenge (G1) to be contested October 24th at Albuquerque Downs.

Ridden by jockey Richard Gamez, Unintymidated posted a :22.027 clocking in the first of two trials, equaling a 101 speed index.

Owned-and-trained by Jose Badilla, Sr., the sorrel gelding was bred in Oklahoma by Bobby D. Cox. Unintymidated's dam is the stakes producing Strawfly Special mare Modice.  He has compiled a (9) 2-1-0 record and banked $11,656.
