Dak Qualifies for Grade 3 Dash For Cash Derby

Dak (#8) qualifying for the 204,600 Dash For Cash Derby on Friday, September 20th at Lone Star Park.


GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—SEPTEMBER 20, 2019—Dak, a graded stakes winning son of DOMINYUN, posted the seventh fastest qualifying time for the $204,600 Dash For Cash Derby on Friday, September 20th at Lone Star Park.

Leon Bard saddled the graded stakes winner for owner Blue Star Racing. Bullard Farms bred Dak in Texas rom the Fishers Dash mare Fleet Elis. He has won three of nine career starts and banked over $240,000. 

Jockey Francisco Calderon was in the saddled to win his and trial and to clock a :22.011 time for the 440 yards. Last year he won the TQHA Sale Futurity(RG3) at Retama Park and was second in the Texas Classic Juvenile at Remington Park.
