FREDRICKSBURG, TX—JULY 7, 2019—Curiositi, an Oklahoma-bred son of DOMINYUN, qualifed for the $48,600 G.C.F.A. July Firecracker Futurity at Gillespie County Fairground on Sunday afternoon.
The 10 fastest qualifiers, from four trial races contested today, will return to the Gillespie County Fairground on Saturday, July 20th to vie for the winner's purse valued at more than $17,000.
Ridden by jockey Eddie Sanchez, the sorrel filly finished second in her trial to post the 7th fastest time of :18.185 seconds.
Curiositi races for owner Dimas Sanchez and is conditioned by trainer Jose Sanchez. Bobby D. Cox bred the filly in Oklahoma from the Corona Cartel mare Strictly Taboo.
Trainer Jose Lopez saddled the daughter of leading sire First Moonflash for owner-breeder Jesus Eden Garza. The brown filly is out of Ja Fascination by Mr Jess Perry.
