Dame Of Thrones Qualifies To John Deere Ruidoso Juvenile Challenge

Dame Of Thrones, under jockey Adrian Ramos, won her trial for the John Deere Ruidoso Downs Juvenile Challenge by two-lengths on Friday.


RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—MAY 18, 2019—Dame of Thrones, a daughter of multiple stake sire DOMINYUN, posted the third fastest time on Friday in three trials to the Grade 3, $58,438 John Deere Ruidoso Juvenile Challenge on Friday afternoon at Ruidoso Downs.

The horses with the 10-fastest times qualified to compete in the John Deere Ruidoso Juvenile Challenge on June 2. A strong, gusting headwind faced all of the trial competitors.

In just her second career start Dame Of Thrones won the second trial by two-lengths under jockey Adrian Ramos.  The bay filly posted an :18.482 clocking into an 18 mph headwind.

Trainer James Gonzales II saddled Dame Of Thrones for owner Esau Hermosillo.

A.C. Taylor bred the 2-year-old in Oklahoma from the IVORY JAMES mare Specials Jamie.  She sold under the name Jamies Special in the 2018 Heritage Place Yearling Sale for $12,500.
