OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 10, 2019—In her first career start, Shez Dominating raced to the 17th fastest time from 113 two-year-olds who participated in 12 trials Saturday night at Remington Park for the Grade 2 $396,650 Oklahoma Futurity.
Shez Dominating's time of :15.700 seconds was good enough to qualify the sorrel filly as a preferred invite for the $50,000-Guaranteed Oklahoma Juvenile Invitational on March 23rd.
Racing for owners Denis and Julie Schoenhofer and Manet Applebaum, Shez Dominating was quick game under jockey Mario Delgado in the 8th trial to just miss breaking her maiden by neck to fellow Juvenile preferred invite Lota Saturday.
Ruben Soto conditions Shez Dominating, a daughter of multiple grade 1 sire DOMINYUN. Bred in Texas by Bobby D. Cox, she is from the Check Him Out mare Shescheckinumout. Shez Dominating was a $12,000 Heritage Place Yearling sale purchase for the Schoenhofers.
