OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 10, 2013—
The second night of the 2013 Remington Park American Quarter Horse & Mixed-Breed Season featured a dozen trials for the historic Oklahoma Futurity(G2). Preying For Ivory, a son of leading sire IVORY JAMES
, won the third trial of the night and his time for the 300 yards put him into the rich $325,000 race for 2-year-old American Quarter Horses.
Racing for William F. Harned, Preying For Ivory is out of the Panther Mountain mare Prey. Kevin Willis conditions the brown colt who posted a time of :15.622 after an impressive 1 ˝ length win. Cody Smith was aboard the Texas bred. Dr. Steve Hurlbert is the breeder.
