Jeaniologi Has Fastest Tuesday Training Race At Remington Park

Jeaniologi, under jockey Mario Delgado, defeating Slayer in Race 5 to post the fastest training race time on Tuesday afternoon at Remington Park.


OKLAHOMA CITY, OK--FEBRUARY 27, 2018--Remington Park's four-day week of training race activity continued with eight more races Tuesday afternoon. Jeaniologi had the fastest 250-yard time of the session for owner Bella Vista Farms of Arcola, Illinois.

A 2-year-old Oklahoma-bred filly by DOMINYUN from the Corona Cartel mare All N The Jeans, Jeaniologi handled the fifth training race of the day in :13.588 over a fast track.

Ridden by Mario Delgado and trained by Eddie Lee Willis, Jeaniologi won her event by a half-length after taking the lead at the midway point. She faced a headwind of 12mph in her victory, on a day where rain fell over the final two races and the winds ranged from 12-14mph.

Bobby D. Cox bred the $17,000 Heritage Places Yearling Sale graduate in Oklahoma.

Remington Park will conduct training races Wednesday and Thursday this week with eight races set for each session. Training races start both days at 11am.

The 2018 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season at Remington Park starts with a weekend of activity Friday, March 9 thru Sunday, March 11. The first race on Opening Night, March 9 is at 6pm. The first race on Saturday, March 10 starts at 4pm. Sunday action on March 11 is underway at 1:30pm.
