Bruce Allmty Dominates Sunland Park's Grade 3 KOFX-Radio Handicap

SUNLAND PARK, NM-JANUARY 27, 2018-Bruce Allmty, a 4-year-old son of multiple stakes sire IVORY JAMES, romped to a 1- length win over May Be Fantastic SA in the $50,000 Grade 3 KOFX-Radio Handicap Saturday afternoon at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino. Marseille finished one-length back in third.

Ridden by jockey Roberto Meraz, Jr., Bruce Allmty cleared the field early then held safe while completing the 350 yards in a quick :17.124 seconds, a 102-speed index into a 4-mph headwind. The $30,000 winner's purse booted his bankroll to over $102,000.

Conditioned by trainer Fernando Carrete, the gray gelding picked up his third consecutive win for owner Adrian Cano. Bred in Arkansas by Jailbait, Inc., Bruce Allmty is out of Br Regal Gal by A Regal Choice. He has compiled a (15) 6-2-0 record.

May Be Fantastic Sa races for owner Orlando Guerrero and is trained by Ubaldo Guerrero. Emilio Tapia rode the multiple graded-placed son of Fantastic Corona Jr from the Tres Seis mare Darling Treis.

Startng off a win in the Mike Hasting Memorial Stakes at Turf Paradise last month, the sorrel horse earned $10,000 to push his earnings to just over $99,000. The multiple stakes winner was second in the West Texas Maturity(G2) at Sunland Park last March. Gianni Franco Samaja is the breeder.

Jockey Jose Ortiz rode third-place finisher Marseille for owner Hugo Esquivel. Juan Esquivel conditions the graded stakes winning son of world champion sire FDD Dynasty from the Separatist mare Kr Dragonfly. C. and L. Joiner and S. and D. Kidd bred the earner of more than $100,000 in Colorado.

Bf Fooserageous, Double O Seven B, Deal A Fortune, Apollitical Dreaming, Once Over, American Girl Rocks and Docs First Fire completed the field.
